Ninh Binh Railway Station

Ninh Binh Station (Ga Ninh Bình) is a station on the North–South railway in Ninh Binh province in the Red River Delta region. Ninh Binh Station is the closest station to the Trang An Landscape Complex.

Ninh Binh Station was moved to its current location in 2015. The old Ninh Binh Station is 1.3 km north of the current station.

The old station was converted into the Go Ninh Binh Hostel, but it closed down during the pandemic.

The street in front of the old station (Hoang Hoa Tham Street) used to be backpacker street, but now most people go straight to Tam Coc to stay near the Trang An Landscape Complex.

Transport from Ninh Binh Station to Tam Coc

Tam Coc is the main tourist area that supports the Trang An Landscape Complex (the main reason that tourist visit Ninh Binh).

It’s approximately 5.8 km from Ninh Binh Station to the main Tam Coc area, though hotels and homestays spread out. Getting a taxi is convenient and affordable, or you can use Grab to travel on a fixed rate. You can also arrange transport via your hotel.
